- Westfield Medical’s steam sterilization autoclave tape is printed onto a robust crepe paper base which is coated with a high tack adhesive.
- The tape is primarily intended for use with flexible sterile barrier systems such as wraps, drapes & plain closure bags, although it will also adhere strongly to other surfaces such as linen.
- The tape is available in two standard widths of 19mm and 25mm and in two varieties, standard and latex free. It is supplied on standard 76mm cores to allow it’s use on all commonly available tape dispenser systems.

- Special pouches up to 2400mm long can be supplied. In addition, from 455mm upwards any widths is available to a maximum of 960mm as straight top pouches.

- These products are suitable for H2O2 sterilization and are printed with Class 1 process indicators compliant with ISO.11140-1. Manufactured from uncoated Tyvek® protective material 1073B1, the highest level of barrier protection, sealed to a polyester/polyethylene laminate providing excellent strength and peelability.
- The indicators change from red to yellow when exposed to Hydrogen Peroxide providing a strong signal that the pack has been processed.
- The materials comply to FDA 21 CFR 176:170, 177:1520 and 186:1673. The pouches and reels comply with ISO.11607-1 and EN868-5 & 9. The H2O2 indicator complies with the requirements of ISO.11140-1:2005.

- This patented product is designed and manufactured to maintain surgical instruments in a moist state post operatively, thus preventing the drying of bio-contamination on the instrument. On completion of the procedure the contaminated instruments are placed in to the Humipak pouch where they will remain until they are presented for cleaning.
- Available in four self-seal sizes. This product range is manufactured under ISO.9001.2008 Quality Systems. The finished product is manufactured as a film – viscose – film sandwich in a range of designs, in sizes suitable for DIN, Double-DIN and Half-DIN Baskets.
- Water is applied to the Humipak pouch viscose material, which quickly disperses through the pockets generating a moist, humid environment that is ready to accept the soiled instruments and preventing them drying. Tests have shown that the self seal pouches retain their humidity for up to 7 days.
